1991 - Incorporation of EKON Sole Proprietor. Object of activity: manufacture and trade with construction materials.
1996: Incorporation of EKON-91 Ltd. through Court Decision No. 331/1996 of Russe District Court; filed in Trade Company Register under lot No. 1067, volume 14, page 121. Manufacture of alkyd and water-dispersed paints. The Company started the operation of the first private installation for synthesis of alkyd resins in Bulgaria.
1997: Increasing the manufacturing capacity of the plant for varnishes and painting materials.
1997: Starting the manufacture and trade of varnishes and painting materials basically meant for export.
2001-2002: Reconstruction and starting the operation of a plant for manufacture of foam-latex products - starting the manufacture of multizone foam-latex mattresses, anatomic pillows, foam-latex impregnated textile and anatomic insoles. Actually the Company is the only manufacturer of foam-latex products upon DUNLOP technology in Southeast Europe.
2003-2004: Construction of a plant for the manufacture of varnishes and painting materials.
2005: Starting the operation of the new plant.
2005: Implementation of quality management system based on BDS EN ISO 9001 : 2001.
